Illinois Quad Cities – Residents in the Quad Cities region can look forward to a mild, sunny weekend with ideal fall weather conditions. Today’s highs will reach 60 degrees with dry conditions and mostly clear skies, setting a perfect backdrop for outdoor plans. Temperatures will dip to the upper 30s tonight, making for a crisp evening ideal for stargazing or seasonal events.

According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, Sunday will bring slightly warmer temperatures, peaking around 63 degrees. Light south winds will add a gentle warmth, creating comfortable conditions for any remaining fall festivities. Sunday night will remain clear, with temperatures falling to a low of 46 degrees.

Heading into the work week, Monday’s forecast calls for even warmer conditions, with highs reaching between 68 and 71 degrees. Skies are expected to stay mostly sunny, and no rain is predicted for the start of the week. Monday night will remain partly cloudy, with a low near 65 degrees, setting up for a mild Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will rise significantly on Tuesday, potentially reaching 83 degrees, providing an unseasonably warm day for late October. However, by Wednesday, conditions may shift as showers are likely to move into the area after 1 p.m. Rainfall could affect local roads and traffic, particularly during the evening rush. Those with outdoor plans or travel on major roads like I-80 or I-74 should monitor local forecasts for possible rain delays.
