Quad Cities Braces for Possible Isolated Thunderstorm Saturday Afternoon

Quad Cities, IL/IA – Residents should be prepared for the possibility of an isolated thunderstorm this afternoon as warm weather continues across the region.

According to the National Weather Service, while today’s temperatures are expected to range between 82-87°F with mostly sunny skies, there is a chance for an isolated strong storm to develop in the late afternoon or evening, particularly west of the Mississippi River.

The community is encouraged to stay vigilant and monitor weather updates for any sudden changes. Taking necessary precautions when outdoors is advised as these isolated storms can develop quickly.
