Pueblo, CO – Rapid response by Pueblo County Sheriff’s deputies led to two arrests early Wednesday morning after a burglary in progress was reported just east of Pueblo city limits.
According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 1 a.m. to the 1800 block of South La Crosse Avenue following a burglary alarm. An RV owner had called after spotting a man on his security camera breaking into his trailer. The suspect also allegedly stole the camera during the break-in.

A search of the property uncovered several stolen items, including the missing security camera. Deputies also discovered that other RVs in the area had been broken into, though it remains unclear if additional items were taken.
Jaramillo, of Denver, was arrested for second-degree burglary, theft, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and a fugitive warrant. Griego was arrested for second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, theft, and three outstanding warrants.
The investigation remains ongoing, and deputies noted that additional charges may be filed.
