Pueblo, CO – A quiet and sunny weekend is in store for southern Colorado, featuring seasonal temperatures today and a notable warm-up on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

Saturday will bring clear skies and light winds with highs ranging from upper 50s to low 60s across the plains, upper 50s in the San Luis and mountain valleys, and upper 30s to 50s in the mountain regions. Overnight lows will drop sharply, falling to the 30s on the plains and teens in valley locations.

By Sunday, temperatures will rise well above normal, reaching the upper 70s to near 80°F across the plains, mid-60s to low 70s in the valleys, and upper 40s to upper 60s in mountain zones.

Forecasters report no precipitation expected through the weekend, with dry and stable conditions continuing into early next week.

Residents in high-elevation valleys should prepare for very cold overnight lows, while much warmer daytime conditions return by Sunday afternoon.
