Pueblo, CO – Trick-or-treaters across southern and southeast Colorado are in for a crisp but pleasant Halloween night, with clear skies and cool fall air expected through the evening.
According to the US National Weather Service Pueblo, temperatures will gradually fall from the low 50s at 6 p.m. into the 30s by 10 p.m. across the region. Cities like Pueblo, La Junta, and Lamar will stay mild early in the evening before cooling sharply after dark. Higher-elevation areas such as Leadville will be colder, dipping into the upper 20s.
Forecasters report no chance of precipitation and light winds, making for dry and comfortable conditions for outdoor activities and trick-or-treating. Despite the chill, it will be one of the calmest Halloween evenings in recent years for much of southern Colorado.
Residents are encouraged to layer up and enjoy the clear, starry skies while staying safe on neighborhood streets tonight.
