Pueblo, CO – The National Weather Service in Pueblo says snow will end early Thursday morning across southern Colorado, with clearing skies and warmer afternoon temperatures expected to follow.

Roads will remain icy and slick early in the day, especially on untreated surfaces, bridges, and mountain passes. Morning lows will dip into the teens and 20s, keeping conditions slippery for commuters.

By late morning into the afternoon, sunshine and slightly warmer air will help improve road conditions. Highs are forecast to reach the 30s and low 40s for many lower elevation areas, while mountain locations remain in the 20s.

Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time during the morning commute and to use caution until roads begin to thaw later in the day.
