Pueblo, CO – A stretch of warm, dry weather will continue across southern Colorado through early next week, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo. Most areas will stay dry through at least Tuesday, though patchy fog could form overnight across the far eastern plains.
Sunday will feature highs ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s on the plains, mid-60s in the mountain valleys, and 40s to 60s in higher elevations. Temperatures will gradually warm a few degrees each day, reaching the upper 60s to low 70s across much of the region by Monday before cooling slightly midweek.
Forecasters say spotty critical fire weather conditions may develop Monday afternoon as warm, breezy, and dry air returns to the plains. Overnight lows will remain seasonable, dipping into the 20s and 30s in most areas.
Travelers in eastern Colorado should use caution late tonight and early Sunday morning due to reduced visibility from fog, especially near low-lying areas and open farmland.
