Authorities said a 2018 black Mazda 3 sedan had stopped for traffic when it was rear-ended by a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet. Police reported the SUV was missing its rear windshield wiper. After the collision, the vehicle allegedly continued onto Route 28 without stopping.
The driver of the Mazda sustained minor injuries, according to state police.
