Porter County, IN – Lane Closures on U.S. 6 for Resurfacing

Motorists traveling on U.S. 6 in Porter County should prepare for alternating lane closures beginning Monday, June 10, as resurfacing work commences between State Road 149 and State Road 49. This project is expected to continue through late August.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation: Northwest, flaggers will manage traffic flow in the construction areas. Drivers should anticipate changing traffic patterns and possible delays during peak hours. Commuters are advised to plan for additional travel time and stay alert for workers and equipment along the roadway.
