Ravenna Township, OH – A Portage County woman has been arrested for a third time within weeks, following a series of alleged offenses that have drawn frustration from local law enforcement.
According to the Portage County Sheriff’s Office, Christina Johnson was arrested again on December 8, 2025, after allegedly assaulting an employee at a Taco Bell in Ravenna Township. Deputies said Johnson allegedly spit on staff and made physical threats before being taken into custody.
Johnson had previously been arrested twice after her initial release from jail last month. Despite the repeated offenses, Judge Pittman again released her on a personal recognizance bond, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
Sheriff Bruce D. Zuchowski said his department continues to receive numerous complaints from residents describing Johnson as an “unwanted subject” in the Ravenna area. “Despite our repeated efforts to remove this dangerous individual from the community, she continues to be released and allowed to terrorize Portage County,” the sheriff stated.
Johnson has been charged with Assault, a Misdemeanor of the First Degree.
Authorities say they will continue working to ensure public safety despite judicial decisions allowing Johnson’s repeated release.
