Kankakee, IL – A Kankakee woman was stabbed late Thursday night, leading to the arrest of a suspect following a police investigation.

According to the Kankakee Police Department, officers responded at approximately 11:14 p.m. Thursday to the 400 block of South Rosewood Avenue after reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers found a 34-year-old woman with a stab wound to the left side of her neck.
