Plainfield, Illinois — CN Railroad Repairs Center Street Railroad Crossing, Street Closed

Plainfield, Ill. — The Village of Plainfield shared a reminder for all residents that they will close the Center Street Railroad Crossing for repairs this week. The village made the post today, July 7, and construction begins Wednesday, July 8.

The village said the CN Railroad will repair the crossing at Center Street this week. CN Railroad and the Village of Plainfield will close Center Street to traffic beginning Wednesday, July 9, at 8:00 a.m. The railroad crossing work will continue until Friday, July 11, at 1:00 p.m.
