Pittsburgh, PA – Residents across western Pennsylvania and nearby regions can expect mostly dry and sunny weather through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Pittsburgh. High temperatures are forecast to hover around 78 to 80 degrees, with cooler overnight lows in the mid-50s.
According to the NWS, the weather pattern will remain stable Thursday through Saturday, bringing sunshine and mild conditions to cities including Pittsburgh, Morgantown, Wheeling, Zanesville, and Clarion. Friday and Saturday afternoons are expected to be warm, topping out near 79 to 80 degrees.
Forecasters note that only minimal chances for precipitation are expected. The best chance for light rain comes late Saturday night into Sunday morning, primarily north and west of Pittsburgh. Forecast models show just a 15–20% probability of showers, meaning most areas will stay dry. By Sunday afternoon, skies are expected to clear again with highs returning to near 80.
The NWS also highlighted morning fog potential, especially in river valleys, which may cause brief visibility issues for early commuters. Otherwise, travel conditions are expected to remain favorable for the weekend.
This stretch of pleasant weather offers residents a good opportunity to enjoy outdoor events, fall sports, and regional travel with little disruption from rain.
