Pittsburgh, PA – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh reports that after areas of dense fog early this morning, conditions will turn mostly dry and mild for the rest of Saturday.
Temperatures will reach the mid-50s to near 60°F before a cold front approaches late Sunday. Intermittent rain is expected to develop Sunday morning and continue through the day, with a rain-to-snow mix possible by Sunday evening, especially in higher elevations or areas north and east of Pittsburgh.
No significant accumulation is expected at this time, but forecasters note that temperatures will turn colder behind the front, signaling a shift to more winter-like conditions early next week.
