Pittsburgh, PA – A blustery Halloween evening is in store for western Pennsylvania and nearby regions, bringing cool temperatures and gusty winds but mostly dry skies for trick-or-treaters.
According to the US National Weather Service Pittsburgh, the Greater Pittsburgh Metro Area will see sustained winds between 25–35 mph, with wind chills ranging from 40–50°F. Farther north into northwest Pennsylvania, temperatures will feel colder, with wind chills dipping into the mid-30s by late evening.
Eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia are expected to experience similar conditions, though brief light rain showers (up to a 20% chance) can’t be ruled out. Some areas in eastern Tucker County, WV, could see gusts as high as 40 mph.
Forecasters recommend bundling up for outdoor activities and securing lightweight Halloween decorations before winds peak during the evening hours.
