Pittsburgh, PA – Residents across western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia will see another round of unseasonably warm weather Saturday, with afternoon highs expected to reach the 80s in many areas.
According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, hourly temperature forecasts show cities including Pittsburgh, Washington, Butler, and Morgantown climbing into the low-to-mid 80s by mid-afternoon. Temperatures are projected to remain elevated into the evening before gradually cooling overnight into the 60s.
The warm stretch continues a September pattern of above-normal readings, with forecasters noting little change expected in the overall weather setup. In Butler, PA, highs near 81°F are forecast around 3 p.m., while Coshocton, OH, could top out at 86°F. Pittsburgh itself is projected to reach around 84°F in the afternoon before dipping into the 60s after midnight.
While no major weather hazards are expected, residents are advised to stay hydrated and take breaks if spending extended time outdoors, especially during peak heating hours. Seasonal fall colors are beginning to show in area parks, adding a scenic backdrop to the unusually warm weekend conditions.
Cooler temperatures may arrive later next week, but forecasters say the region should expect summerlike weather to dominate through the weekend.
