According to the National Weather Service at Philadelphia International Airport, overnight lows will settle near 66°F with a 30% chance of showers mainly after 4 a.m. Friday stays mostly cloudy, with another round of scattered showers before 7 a.m. and breezy northeast winds gusting up to 20 mph. Precipitation amounts are expected to remain light, with most areas seeing less than a tenth of an inch.

By Friday night, skies begin to clear, setting up a stretch of sunny, warm weather for the Delaware Valley. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly clear and dry, with highs rising to the low 80s and overnight lows dipping to the mid-60s. Monday brings more sunshine and summer heat, with temperatures peaking near 87°F and humidity climbing.

Residents are advised to allow extra travel time Friday morning and use headlights in areas of fog. As temperatures rise this weekend, stay hydrated and check on vulnerable neighbors or pets.
