Philadelphia, PA – Morning showers across the Philadelphia region and South Jersey will give way to partly sunny skies and gusty westerly winds today, according to the US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly.
Highs will reach the mid-50s to mid-60s this afternoon as skies gradually clear. Winds will increase through the day, producing breezy and cooler conditions by evening.
Forecasters say Tuesday will bring a brief warm-up, with highs climbing into the upper 60s to low 70s under mostly sunny skies. A cold front will move through late Tuesday night, bringing another round of scattered showers before temperatures drop again midweek.
By Wednesday, cooler and breezy conditions return, with highs back in the 50s and occasional sunshine breaking through lingering clouds.
Meteorologists expect the region’s weather to stay mostly dry after midweek, providing a classic fall mix of crisp mornings and mild afternoons across Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Trenton.
Residents are advised to secure outdoor decorations as gusty winds develop today and again Tuesday night ahead of the front.
