Rain chances rise after sunset, spreading from northwest to southeast, with the highest rain probabilities (70–80%) expected across Trenton, Morristown, and coastal New Jersey.
The showers should taper off by early Saturday morning, leading to a pleasant and dry start to the weekend. However, forecasters note that rain will return on Sunday as another cold front approaches, followed by colder air early next week.
