Mount Holly, NJ –The National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly reports that patchy freezing fog may develop overnight across portions of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and northern Delaware as temperatures dip below freezing.
According to forecasters, lingering low-level moisture will bring fog formation in several areas, most notably in the Pine Barrens region of New Jersey. Some spots could experience locally dense fog, leading to slick surfaces on bridges and untreated roads.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the upper 20s to low 30s, with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies across the region. The NWS advises motorists to slow down, use low-beam headlights, and watch for areas where visibility may drop suddenly.
Despite the cold start, dry and calmer conditions are expected to continue through Sunday, with gradual warming later in the day.
Residents are reminded to monitor local forecasts for updates and prepare for freezing morning commutes in low-lying and rural areas.
