Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia is heading into a stretch of sun-soaked days and rising heat, with temperatures expected to reach 90°F by Tuesday and stay elevated through midweek. Residents should prepare for hotter afternoons and limited rain chances as the region locks into a dry, high-pressure pattern.

According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, today and Monday will remain sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Winds will stay light, shifting from east to south by Monday afternoon. Humidity is expected to climb Tuesday, when highs near 90°F may feel even warmer under partly sunny skies.

Tuesday night into Wednesday will stay mostly cloudy but dry, with overnight lows in the upper 60s. Daytime highs on Wednesday and Thursday will stay in the mid-80s, with continued sun and only slight variation in conditions across Delaware and Montgomery counties. No widespread storms are expected through at least Thursday.

Philadelphians should stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and limit strenuous outdoor activity during peak afternoon hours. With little wind and minimal cloud cover, urban heat buildup will be a concern by Tuesday.

More updates will follow if heat advisories are issued later in the week.
