Mount Holly, NJ – After a damp start to the day, residents across New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland can expect improving conditions as lingering showers move out and skies gradually clear. The National Weather Service in Mount Holly says patchy fog will persist early Wednesday morning before giving way to sun and clouds later in the day.

According to forecasters, a cool and breezy afternoon is ahead, with west winds gusting up to 30 mph. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s to low 60s, marking a noticeable cool-down behind the departing weather system.

Once fog dissipates, the region should see mostly sunny skies through midday, followed by some additional cloud cover developing during the afternoon. The National Weather Service advises drivers to use caution during the morning commute, as visibility could be reduced in fog-prone areas before conditions improve.

The rest of the week looks seasonable and mainly dry, setting up a calm stretch heading into the weekend.
