Philadelphia, PA – Mild and quiet conditions continue across Pennsylvania today as high pressure keeps the region dry through the afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the upper 50s to lower 60s for many areas before a more active pattern returns tonight.

According to the US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly, clouds will increase through the afternoon as high pressure shifts offshore. A warm front lifts across the region tonight, bringing the first round of rain. Overnight lows will stay in the 40s and low 50s thanks to the incoming warm air.

Sunday becomes more unsettled. A clipper system will pass north of the area, dragging a cold front across Pennsylvania by late day. Behind this front, gusty northwest winds will develop, with breezy to windy conditions expected Sunday afternoon and evening. Forecasters say colder air will quickly follow the departing system.

By Monday, highs will drop into the upper 40s and low 50s with brisk northwest winds still lingering. Conditions stay dry to start the workweek, but the noticeable cooldown marks a return to more typical mid-November temperatures.

Across southeastern Pennsylvania—including Philadelphia, Allentown, Reading, and Lancaster—today remains the warmest portion of the weekend. Central and northern areas such as Pocono, Susquehanna Valley, and the Lehigh Valley will also experience milder temperatures before rain arrives tonight.

Residents should be prepared for a breezy end to the weekend, wetter roads late tonight, and a significantly cooler start to the new week. Marine interests along the New Jersey and Delaware coasts may also see increasing winds Sunday.
