Peoria, IL: Two Stabbings in 24 Hours Under Investigation

Peoria, IL – Two separate stabbings in Peoria over consecutive days have left two individuals hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Peoria Police Department, the first incident occurred on Thursday at approximately 7:24 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of S. Livingston and W. Humboldt following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they located a 38-year-old man with an apparent stab wound to the neck. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A search of the area for the suspect yielded negative results.

Early Friday at approximately 12:24 a.m., officers responded to another stabbing in the 2500 block of N. Sheridan Road. They found a 27-year-old woman with an apparent stab wound to her upper chest. She was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Despite a thorough search, police did not locate a suspect.
