Peoria, IL – A late-night stabbing sent a 19-year-old man to the hospital Thursday after Peoria police responded to an incident on the 4500 block of West Rockwell Drive.

According to the Peoria Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11:59 p.m. on September 18, 2025, after reports of a man who had been stabbed. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

Police reported that a short time later, they stopped a vehicle believed to be leaving the scene. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Nicole L. Keller, was taken into custody without incident. She was arrested on charges of aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property before being booked into the Peoria County Jail.

Authorities emphasized that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
