Peoria, IL – A 46-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital late Wednesday night after being shot multiple times on Peoria’s North Underhill Street, according to police.
The Peoria Police Department reported that officers were dispatched around 11:01 p.m. on October 1, 2025, following a call of a male subject being shot in the 1800 block of N. Underhill Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police confirmed the man was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. His current condition has not been released.
According to the Peoria Police Department, members of the Criminal Investigations Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Patrol Unit responded to the scene to collect evidence and launch an investigation. At this time, no suspect information has been made available.
