Upon arrival, they made contact with an adult female who reported that 39-year-old Donald R. Criss had allegedly been involved in a verbal altercation with her before forcibly entering the residence and striking her in the head with a handgun.
According to police, the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located Criss inside the home and took him into custody without incident. A search of the residence led to the recovery of a loaded handgun, officials said.
