Peoria, IL Home Invasion: Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Suspect

Peoria, IL – A home invasion incident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, March 13, 2024, has prompted the Peoria Police Department to seek assistance from the public. According to the Peoria Police, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2000 block of W. Antoinette at approximately 12:52 a.m., following a report of a home invasion.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim who reported that a male suspect had entered the residence, brandishing a firearm, and demanded money. The suspect subsequently fled the scene on foot. Despite a thorough canvassing of the area, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

In an effort to advance the investigation, detectives have obtained photographs of the suspect but have so far been unable to identify him. The Peoria Police Department is now reaching out to the community for help in identifying the suspect involved in this crime.
