Peoria, IL – Two teenage suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and aggravated battery that took place in Peoria late last year, according to police.

Peoria Police said the incident happened on November 21, 2025, around 9:37 p.m. in the 1800 block of N. Missouri Avenue, where a 17-year-old victim reported being approached by five armed suspects. The suspects allegedly took the victim’s belongings and physically battered him before fleeing on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries.

According to the Peoria Police Department, detectives continued to investigate the case and, on January 3, 2026, arrested two juvenile males—ages 15 and 17—in connection with the robbery.

Police said the 15-year-old was arrested for Armed Robbery (25-23106), Aggravated Battery (25-23106), and Resisting Arrest/Obstructing Police (26-187). He was also wanted on an active warrant for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle (25-20978).

The 17-year-old was arrested for Armed Robbery (25-23106) and Resisting Arrest/Obstructing Police (26-187). Both teens were transported to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center.
