Peoria, IL – The Peoria Police Department is inviting residents to warm up and connect with their Co-Responder Social Services Team during a special community event, Hot Cocoa & Cookies with Co-Response, on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

According to the department, the event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 427 W. Main Street, Peoria, IL 61606. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and cookies while learning more about how the Co-Response program assists individuals and families throughout the community.

The Co-Responder Social Services Team pairs law enforcement officers with social service professionals to help connect residents in crisis with mental health, housing, and support resources.
