The victim, a 43-year-old Greene County man, later identified as Roger Grim Jr., was found shot multiple times on Fox Hill Road near Dairy Farm Road in Perry Township on January 19, 2020. Police said he was discovered lying in front of his running pickup truck by a township resident.

According to investigators, the scene included several spent shell casings, a broken pair of eyeglasses, and fresh tire marks, indicating a vehicle may have fled the scene quickly. No firearm was recovered.

The man had last been seen hours earlier at the Old Station Bar & Grill in Waynesburg, where video showed him leaving alone around 2 a.m. Detectives believe he was shot shortly afterward.
