Philadelphia, PA – A mix of rain, snow, and strong winds could impact weekend plans across Pennsylvania, making travel conditions unpredictable.
According to the National Weather Service, Friday will start with morning rain before clearing to sunny skies by the afternoon. However, gusty northwest winds up to 30 mph will make the 36°F high feel much colder. Those heading out for Valentine’s Day dinner plans should dress for chilly temperatures.
Saturday brings a chance of snow in the morning, transitioning to steady rain by the afternoon. Highs will hover around 38°F, and roads could become slick as precipitation changes throughout the day. Saturday night into Sunday is expected to bring heavier rain, with winds increasing once again.
Sunday will be the warmest day of the forecast period, with highs reaching near 58°F. However, a steady rain is expected for most of the day, creating potential flooding risks in low-lying areas. By Sunday night, temperatures will drop into the mid-20s, bringing a return of winter-like conditions.
Residents should prepare for changing weather patterns, plan ahead for travel, and stay updated on the latest forecasts. Keep umbrellas and winter gear handy for a wet and windy weekend.
