According to the National Weather Service, rain will taper off Friday night, with gusty winds up to 21 mph possible. Saturday will be mostly cloudy before skies gradually clear, with highs reaching 36°F. However, by Saturday night, lows will dip to 26°F, making for a much colder evening.
Sunday and Monday will remain mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s, but temperatures will plummet Monday night, dropping to 32°F. Another round of cold weather will follow Tuesday, with a chance of rain and a high of 42°F.
Drivers should be cautious of slick roads as temperatures fall below freezing, especially on bridges and overpasses. Those heading out this weekend should prepare for a chilly start to February.
