Monday night into Tuesday morning brings a continued threat of showers and thunderstorms, especially between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., with locally heavy downpours. By Tuesday afternoon, storm chances rise again to 80%, as another wave of rain moves across Centre County and surrounding areas. Winds could gust up to 16 mph, reducing visibility during heavier downpours.
Residents should avoid flood-prone roadways and delay outdoor activities. Prepare by securing loose outdoor items, charging devices, and staying weather-aware, especially during peak commute times. Calm and clear weather returns by Wednesday, with sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s expected through the Fourth of July holiday.
