According to the National Weather Service in State College, there’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms developing Friday afternoon, especially along US-322 and surrounding areas. Friday’s high will reach near 86°F, with calm winds and patchy fog early in the day giving way to unstable afternoon conditions. While rainfall totals may stay under a tenth of an inch, stronger storms could bring higher localized amounts and lightning risk.

Saturday looks even more unsettled, with a 40% chance of thunderstorms after 11 a.m. and highs reaching 88°F. Saturday night into Sunday ramps up the rain threat, especially by Sunday afternoon, where a 70% chance of showers and possible thunderstorms is expected. Sunday’s high will hover around 87°F — ideal for indoor plans, not park outings.
