Rainfall may reach three-quarters of an inch in localized spots, though flooding risks remain limited. Calm winds turn southwest at 5 mph Thursday, keeping conditions humid.
Friday marks a transition day with clouds lingering and highs near 76. Winds will shift northwest, ushering in drier and more stable air by afternoon. Saturday looks cooler but mostly dry, with highs around 74 and only a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m.
Sunday brings a bright start to October with highs pushing near 78 under partly sunny skies. Monday night cools back into the upper 50s before another sunny stretch Tuesday with highs in the mid-70s. Residents planning fall festivals, football games, or travel into the Allegheny Mountains can expect mostly favorable conditions after Friday evening.
