State College, PA – After a dry weekend, rain is expected to return to Central Pennsylvania by Tuesday, bringing a 40% chance of precipitation. Temperatures will gradually rise, reaching the upper 40s by midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 37°F, followed by a partly cloudy night with lows around 25°F. Monday will see temperatures climb to 46°F with light southwest winds. However, by Tuesday, cloud cover will increase, and a chance of rain could impact morning and evening commutes.

Residents should prepare for wet conditions on Tuesday and an increasing chance of rain into Wednesday night, with precipitation probabilities rising to 60% by Thursday. Cooler temperatures will return Thursday night, bringing a 30% chance of mixed precipitation.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution on wet roads, especially during peak travel hours. With fluctuating temperatures, slick conditions could develop overnight.
