St. Marys, PA – Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward as part of a renewed effort to locate Michelle Benjamin, a woman who disappeared under suspicious circumstances in June 2007.
Benjamin, 35 at the time, was last seen at her home on Madison Street in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, on the afternoon of June 22, 2007. Investigators believe she left with three unidentified men who may have been from Buffalo, New York, and possibly traveling in a red or maroon 1992 Buick four-door sedan.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Troop C – Punxsutawney Station, Benjamin is still classified as missing and the case remains unsolved. She was described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with long blond or strawberry hair and blue eyes. She also had several tattoos, including a butterfly on her chest, and tattoos on her left ankle, calf, leg, and right breast, along with pierced ears.
The Pennsylvania State Police are asking the public for any tips that may help solve the case. Information leading to an arrest or the resolution of the cold case may qualify tipsters for a cash reward.
