Mount Holly, NJ – The National Weather Service in Philadelphia/Mount Holly says the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas will experience a chilly but dry fall weekend, with clear skies and overnight frost in some inland locations.

Forecasters report Saturday highs in the upper 50s to low 60s across southern New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania, while northern areas including Allentown and Reading will stay in the low to mid-50s.

By early Sunday morning, temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-30s to lower 40s, with patchy frost possible in rural and inland valleys. The NWS says the region will remain mainly dry through Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and light winds.

Looking ahead, forecasters are monitoring a potential low-pressure system that could bring rain and gusty winds to the region around mid- to late next week, but confidence in timing remains low.

Residents are encouraged to protect outdoor plants and stay updated with the US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly for forecast changes heading into next week.
