Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are renewing their call for information in a decades-old missing person case involving 17-year-old Patricia Seelbaugh, who disappeared in 1973 after being dropped off at a rural residence near Grove City in Mercer County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop D – Mercer Station, Seelbaugh was last seen on October 26, 1973, after spending time with friends at the Barkeyville Truck Stop off Interstate 80 in Venango County, just east of Interstate 79. Investigators say she was later dropped off with an unknown male at a home commonly known as Hallville, just outside Grove City, reportedly after midnight.

She has not been seen since. Troopers say Seelbaugh wore glasses for reading but left them behind, adding to the concern surrounding her sudden disappearance.

According to PSP, Seelbaugh was 5 feet tall, weighed about 98 pounds, and had black hair and hazel eyes at the time she went missing. She was last seen wearing blue jeans.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that helps solve the case. State Police are urging anyone with information—no matter how small—to come forward.
