Baltimore, MD – Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey are experiencing another cold day, but warmer temperatures are on the horizon. Highs remain in the 20s and 30s, but a milder weekend is ahead.

According to the US National Weather Service Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center, Friday’s frigid temperatures will give way to a warming trend. By the weekend, highs will climb into the 40s and 50s, making for more comfortable conditions.

No significant precipitation is expected, and rivers will continue to fall. With dry conditions forecasted, flood risks remain low for the region. Skies will be partly sunny, bringing a break from recent cold snaps.

The trend of rising temperatures will continue into next week. While overnight lows may still be chilly, daytime warmth will feel more seasonal.

Residents should dress in layers and be cautious of icy spots in shaded areas. Though no storms are forecasted, conditions can shift quickly. Stay informed with the latest weather updates.
