Pennsylvania Man Arrested After Alleged Armed Road Rage Incident Involving Woman, Child

Pikesville, MD – A Pennsylvania man remains held without bond after an alleged armed road rage incident involving a woman and her child in Maryland. Gary Douglas, 40, of Glen Rock, PA, faces multiple felony charges, including assault and handgun offenses, and is detained at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

According to Maryland State Police, the incident occurred on October 9 along Southbound I-83. Douglas reportedly brandished a firearm during a confrontation with a woman, who was traveling with her 10-year-old child. Authorities have not released the identities of the woman or the child, and no injuries were reported.

Investigators located Douglas’s gray Toyota Corolla at Fort Meade. With support from the Army Criminal Investigation Division, police searched the vehicle, seizing a loaded handgun. Douglas was arrested without further incident and now faces two counts of felony assault and other related charges.
