According to NWS, highs this weekend will reach just 23°F Saturday and 32°F Sunday, with lows dropping into the single digits. Winds from the west and southwest could make it feel even colder. By Monday, temperatures are expected to climb slightly to 34°F, offering a brief reprieve before snow showers move in late Monday evening.
Drivers should exercise caution early Tuesday, as snow accumulations could make roadways, including major routes such as I-376, slippery. The chance of snow showers is currently at 40%, and totals are projected to remain under an inch, but slick conditions may persist throughout the morning commute.
Looking ahead, temperatures are expected to rise to 38°F Tuesday and 35°F Wednesday, with a continued chance of snow each day. Those heading out should monitor weather updates and allow extra travel time.
