Valley View, PA – Nearly five decades after his disappearance, authorities are offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that could solve the case of Randall Brosius, a 22-year-old man last seen in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Brosius, of Valley View, was last seen driving east on Route 209 near Williamstown in 1976. According to the Pennsylvania State Police Troop H – Harrisburg Station, he was in the company of two men from Florida — Kenneth H. Lenker and Richard Green — after the group had reportedly left the parking lot of Mace’s Blue Fountain Motel.

According to investigators, Brosius’ family received a threatening ransom call during Christmas that year. The anonymous caller allegedly demanded $500 in exchange for information, claiming Brosius was involved in a large marijuana deal and threatening to dismember him if payment wasn’t made. Though Brosius’ mother complied and arranged a meeting in Williamstown, the captors never arrived.

Authorities located both Lenker and Green in Cocoa, Florida at the time but did not file charges in connection to Brosius’ disappearance. His mother said he knew both men but did not consider them close friends.

Brosius was last seen wearing a black Navy peacoat, jeans, and black Wellington boots. He was insulin-dependent for diabetes, and it’s believed he did not have his medication at the time he went missing. He also walked with a noticeable limp due to a severe leg injury and had a visibly damaged finger.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Harrisburg at 717-671-7500 or submit a tip online at www.p3tips.com. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
