Hellertown, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are renewing efforts to solve the decades-old homicide of a Lehigh Valley real estate agent, announcing a $5,000 reward for information.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop M in Bethlehem, 40-year-old Charlotte Fimiano, an agent for Weichert Realtors, was killed after showing a home to an unknown client on Sept. 11, 1997. Authorities said she failed to return home that evening, and her body was discovered the next morning inside the vacant house at 2147 Chelsea Lane in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County.

Investigators determined that Fimiano had been strangled and shot to death. The home where her body was found was the last location she was scheduled to visit. Despite years of investigation, the case remains unsolved.

Law enforcement officials are asking anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted to Pennsylvania State Police Bethlehem at 610-861-2026, through the toll-free PSP Tips line at 1-800-472-8477, or online at p3tips.com. All tips remain confidential, and callers could qualify for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest or conviction.

State police emphasized that all information is accurate as of the release date and is subject to updates as the investigation continues.

Authorities said the reward is being offered in hopes that renewed attention will encourage someone with knowledge about the case to come forward and help provide closure for Fimiano’s family nearly three decades later.
