Authorities say the incident began at approximately 1:50 a.m. when a fight erupted inside the Double Vision Bar, located at 6 Oliver Square, North Union Township, Fayette County. The confrontation, which reportedly involved 20 to 30 individuals, spilled into the parking lot, where Billy D. James, 35, was allegedly shot multiple times in the torso.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the establishment’s owner and bouncers quickly cleared patrons from the bar as the situation escalated. James was transported to Uniontown Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
