Pennfield Township, MI – A 40-year-old man from Saint Joseph drowned early Sunday after swimming to cool down at Clear Lake.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called at 1:20 a.m. after the man’s family reported him missing. They said he went for a swim but didn’t return. The Calhoun County Dive Team and other emergency responders conducted a search, eventually finding him in the water.
