Springfield, MO – The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for areas along and west of Highway 65 through 10 AM Saturday.
Visibility may drop below ¼ mile at times, creating hazardous travel conditions. In addition, patchy freezing fog could lead to slick spots on elevated surfaces such as bridges, overpasses, and untreated roads.
Motorists are urged to drive slowly, increase following distance, and use low-beam headlights when traveling this morning.
