Quad Cities, IA/IL – The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for areas south of Highway 34, including far southeast Iowa, parts of west-central Illinois, and into northeast Missouri, through 10:00 a.m. CST Sunday.
Visibility may drop to as low as a quarter mile at times, especially in low-lying areas. Drivers are urged to use headlights, reduce speed, and allow extra following distance.
The fog should gradually lift by late morning as visibility improves.
