Streator, IL – A search warrant executed on South Carr Street led to the seizure of drugs, firearms, and ammunition last Wednesday. Law enforcement officials detained two individuals in connection with the investigation.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the proactive team worked alongside multiple agencies, including LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, Pontiac Police, and Illinois State Police. Officers seized methamphetamine, several firearms, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia during the raid.

Sebastian Carlile, on parole, and Annette Essman, on pre-trial release, now face multiple charges. Both are charged with meth delivery (15-100 grams), firearm possession with defaced serial numbers, and possession of controlled substances. Additional charges include prior firearm possession offenses.

Authorities conducted the search after repeated complaints from residents in South Streator. Evidence suggests the home may have been part of a larger criminal operation. Sheriff Ryan Bohm praised inter-agency cooperation for its role in the investigation.

The seized firearms included rifles, shotguns, and handguns, as shown in photographs released by authorities. Both suspects remain innocent until proven guilty in court.

Officials urge residents to report suspicious activity to ensure community safety.
